Here is a list of foods good for detoxing you body which now is my goal to try. I will also try adding some recipes.
Fresh veggies: Onions, red and green leafy veggies, broccoli, garlic, artichokes, asparagus, cucumbers, Cauliflower, Beets, Artichokes, Garlic, Brussel Sprouts, Bell Peppers, Potatoes, Sea Veggies
Eggplant
Avoid corn as it is acid forming
Fruits: Pineapple, Strawberries, Cantaloupe, Watermelon, Blackberries, Raspberries, Fresh or frozen
Unsweetened, natural juice
Dried fruit, unsweetened in limited amounts such as cranberries, dates and raisins
Beans: Pinto, Kidney, Butter or Lima, Green Peas, Blackeyed Peas, Lentils
Rice: All forms
Beans and Rice sound like a great choice! Pineapple for desert!
Grains
Nuts and Seeds: Unsalted nuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, cashews and almonds

This would be a great recipe to use fruit and juice. You can change up your fruit and juice, whatever you like. John makes me some of the very best smoothies!
FRUIT SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
- 1 quart strawberries, hulled
- 1 banana, broken into chunks
- 2 peaches
- 1 cup orange-peach-mango juice
- 2 cups ice
Directions
- In a blender, combine strawberries, banana and peaches. Blend until fruit is pureed. Blend in the juice. Add ice and blend to desired consistency. Pour into glasses and serve.
